Vice President of Research & Development

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Research & Development to shape technology and product strategy across its healthcare software portfolio. The role leads product management, software engineering, platform engineering, and quality teams, while owning the R&D roadmap and budget and prioritizing investment for customer and commercial value. Responsibilities include delivering reliable, secure, compliant products on schedule, addressing technical debt, and maintaining stable live services. The Vice President will also advance AI-enabled engineering and coach and develop technology and product leaders. Candidates should have at least eight years of experience leading R&D, engineering, or product teams, including five or more years at a senior level, and experience leading both product and engineering in a software business. Required strengths include budget ownership, financially grounded investment decisions, predictable delivery, and quality assurance. Experience with regulated software is important, ideally in healthcare, including relevant quality, security, and medical-device standards. Hands-on interest in AI and modern engineering practices, along with strong communication, stakeholder management, and coaching skills, is required; experience with public-sector software, healthcare integration standards, or SaaS platforms is an advantage.
