Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Remote (anywhere in United States)

The Company seeks a Chief Executive Officer to lead its mission-driven initiative and oversee strategy, operations, and organizational impact. Working with a governance group, the CEO will set priorities, guide grantmaking, manage inclusive grant review and selection, and develop plans to evaluate outcomes and support continuous learning. The role also includes building relationships with grantees, representing the initiative to diverse stakeholders, and strengthening an inclusive community. The CEO will lead fundraising and financial stewardship, cultivate philanthropic support, and manage and empower a small team. Candidates should bring at least 10 years of relevant experience, including 4–5 or more years managing others, along with a strong record of developing and executing strategies that deliver sustained social impact. Required expertise includes environmental and social justice, systems change, policy, movement building, coalition development, and grantmaking, as well as demonstrated fundraising success. The role calls for exceptional written and verbal communication, inclusive facilitation, and experience working effectively across diverse communities and stakeholders. Candidates should also demonstrate a commitment to equity, strong organizational and financial judgment, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Prior experience with The Company is required.
