Executive Director, GPO Delivery & Optimization Remote (anywhere in United States)

The Company is seeking an Executive Director, GPO Delivery & Optimization to lead a delivery team and drive performance across a portfolio of client accounts. Responsibilities include setting execution strategy, optimizing contract uptake and value realization, using portfolio analytics to guide recommendations, and building trusted relationships with senior client leaders and clinical stakeholders. The role also oversees account planning, data submission, cross-functional coordination, and strategic initiatives, while personally managing a selection of key accounts. The Executive Director will hire, coach, and develop the team, establish performance standards, and lead continuous improvement and complex issue resolution. Candidates must have at least 10 years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree; a master’s degree and 12 or more years in account management, category management, sourcing, contracting, or healthcare supply chain leadership are preferred. Strong expertise in contract lifecycle management, portfolio performance optimization, and analysis of complex data is required, along with the ability to communicate insights to executives and clinical audiences. The role calls for substantial people-management experience, polished executive presence, and exceptional leadership, facilitation, and influencing skills. Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint is expected, with experience using customer relationship management and analytics platforms preferred.
