Head of Credit Risk

The Company is in need of a Head of Credit to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing credit risk analysis reports for a diverse portfolio, including real estate, project finance, financial institutions, and general corporates. This role involves conducting in-depth financial spreading, and credit recommendations, as well as quarterly IFRS 9 Expected Credit Loss analysis and climate risk assessments. The Head of Credit will also be tasked with performing political, economic, and industry risk analysis, monitoring assigned countries and sectors, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk policies. Applicants for the Head of Credit position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and a strong background in credit risk management. The role requires the ability to review MIS reports, maintain updated borrower files, and support client visits to assess operations and financial performance. The ideal candidate will be adept at liaising with banks, credit agencies, and clients to obtain credit information, and will have a keen eye for detail to ensure effective exception controls. Additionally, the Head of Credit must be prepared to assist with special projects and fulfill crisis management/business continuity responsibilities as needed.
