Head of Finance & Controlling

The Company is in search of a Head of Finance & Controlling for its Italian operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all financial management activities, with a focus on controlling, reporting, and performance management. This pivotal role involves acting as the primary business partner to local and operations leadership teams, driving a culture of data-driven decision-making, and providing actionable financial insights to support operational excellence and strategic growth. The Head of Finance & Controlling will also be instrumental in the development and harmonization of management reporting, planning, and controlling processes, ensuring alignment with corporate finance standards, and contributing to the integration and post-merger journey. Candidates for this role should have a Master's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 10 years' experience in senior finance leadership positions, preferably within multinational and matrix organizations. Strong technical competencies in financial planning and analysis, controlling, reporting, treasury, and tax are essential, as is a proven track record of operating as a strategic business partner. The role requires a leader with strong management capabilities, a business-oriented mindset, and the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels. Experience in change management, particularly in the context of integration and transformation, is highly desirable, as is a background in industrial, manufacturing, or operationally driven businesses. The candidate should be fluent in Italian and English, with a pragmatic, hands-on, and results-driven approach.
