Vice President, Financial Restructuring

The Company is seeking an Associate or Vice President to join its Financial Restructuring & Capital Solutions team. The successful candidate will be part of a small, entrepreneurial deal team that is involved in high-profile transactions, with a focus on complex restructurings, special situations, and capital structure advisory. The role involves working on a broad range of debtor- and creditor-side situations, including distressed and special situations, financial restructuring, takeovers, and refinancing. Responsibilities will vary depending on seniority and may include leading day-to-day workstreams, developing and challenging financial models, preparing client materials, coordinating due diligence, and supporting negotiations with various stakeholders. Applicants should have 4-8+ years' of experience in investment banking or a comparable advisory role, with a strong background in restructuring, leverage finance, special situations, or related areas. The role requires excellent analytical and technical skills, a strong interest in financial restructuring and capital structure topics, and the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment. The ideal candidate will be a team player with high integrity, strong communication skills, and an ownership mindset. Fluency in German and English is essential, as is a strong academic track record in finance, economics, business, or a related field. The role also involves mentoring and developing junior team members, so a leadership and mentoring capability is a plus.
