Senior Legal Counsel

The Company is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel with a focus on investment funds to join their team. This senior legal position is pivotal in providing expert advice on a wide range of legal matters, including fund structuring, corporate governance, and regulatory issues. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the launch and management of various investment funds, such as UCITS and alternative investment vehicles, and will be heavily involved in the drafting, review, and negotiation of legal documentation. A key aspect of the role is to partner with senior management and cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with Luxembourg and European regulatory frameworks, and acting as a strategic legal partner in business initiatives and new product development. Applicants for this role at the company should hold a Master's degree in Law, with a specialization in corporate, business, or financial law, and have a minimum of 8-15 years' legal experience in Luxembourg investment funds. Essential skills include a strong understanding of Luxembourg corporate law, European regulatory frameworks, and the ability to draft and negotiate complex legal documents in both English and French. The ideal candidate will have a pragmatic and commercial mindset, be highly organized, and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Previous in-house experience in the asset management industry is highly desirable, and fluency in additional European languages is a plus. The role requires a high level of integrity, discretion, and professional judgment, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment.
