Head of Plant Operations, Group P&L

The Company is seeking a Head of Plant Operations with a strong business-operator mandate to lead its plant network as a set of profit centers. The successful candidate will be responsible for the group's plant EBITDA margin, converting installed capacity into contribution, and ensuring the network operates with a clear and comparable operating rhythm. This role requires a leader who can reframe plant operations from a production focus to a business-centric approach, with a core mandate to own the operating rhythm, act as a resource-connector, and drive continuous improvement across the network. The Head of Plant Operations will also be accountable for P&L ownership, including plant contribution margin, material yield, labor productivity, and all aspects of plant working capital. Applicants for this role at the company should have a background in process or discrete manufacturing, with a preference for those with multi-site exposure. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of running a factory or business unit as a profit center, with a strong focus on financial fluency and managerial problem-solving. The role demands a leader who can bring in best-practice manufacturing approaches, drive 5S, Kaizen, and Lean manufacturing disciplines, and ensure regulatory and legal compliance across all sites.
