Head of Procurement

The Company is seeking a Purchase Head for its Sofa Division, a key leadership role in the end-to-end procurement strategy for all raw materials, components, and goods essential to the manufacturing of sofas and upholstered furniture. The successful candidate will be tasked with strategic sourcing and vendor management, including the identification, evaluation, and onboarding of global and local suppliers for various key components. This involves negotiating long-term contracts, pricing, and SLAs to ensure cost-efficiency, as well as conducting regular audits and performance evaluations. The role also encompasses inventory and material planning, cost optimization, budgeting, and ensuring that all procured materials meet strict quality and compliance standards. Applicants for the Purchase Head position should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in a similar procurement role, with a strong background in sourcing high-quality materials and optimizing costs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and inventory planning, and be adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams to forecast material requirements. Experience in cost optimization, budgeting, and a deep understanding of market trends and commodity price fluctuations is essential. The role requires a focus on quality assurance, compliance with industry safety standards, and the ability to work closely with the QC team to address any material defects or supplier rejections. A degree in a relevant field is preferred.
