Vice President, Health & Safety

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Health & Safety to lead its enterprise-wide safety strategy across multi-site operations. Responsibilities include developing and coaching safety leaders, strengthening regulatory compliance, and partnering with operational teams to implement practical safety programs. The role oversees audits, incident investigations, corrective actions, training, performance metrics, emergency planning, and risk mitigation. The executive will also support acquisition integration, manage departmental budgets and vendor relationships, and present safety and compliance performance to senior leadership. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, risk management, or a related field, along with at least 10 years of progressive health and safety leadership experience. The role requires seven or more years leading multi-site safety programs, five or more years supporting transportation or logistics operations, and extensive knowledge of OSHA, DOT, FMCSA, MSHA, and related regulations. Applicants should demonstrate success building enterprise-wide programs, leading complex investigations and organizational change, managing budgets, and influencing senior operational leaders. A relevant master’s degree or professional safety certification is preferred.
