The Company is seeking a Business Unit Director for Hospital and Specialty Care. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing the commercial strategy of the business unit, with a strong focus on delivering and exceeding the agreed business plan. This role involves leading a team of direct reports, coordinating all business and financial planning processes, and contributing to the leadership team to ensure high-quality strategy and execution. The ideal candidate will have a university degree in a relevant field, at least 10 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry, and a proven track record in specialty care, particularly in the therapeutic areas of gastroenterology, rheumatology, and hepatology. Experience with orphan drugs and rare diseases is a strong plus. Key responsibilities for the Business Unit Director include coaching and developing top talent, representing the company as a patient-centric organization, and driving results through process improvements and best-in-class solutions. The role requires a leader with a deep understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, pharmaceutical market dynamics, and a strong command of sales, marketing, financial planning, and brand strategy. The candidate should be adept at collaborating, influencing, and leading people, with a focus on driving performance, and be able to operate effectively in an international corporate environment. Full professional proficiency in English is essential, and a PhD or MBA is considered a plus.
