Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its financial strategy and support business growth in a competitive environment. The CFO will be a key player in driving profitability, cost efficiency, and long-term value creation, and must have a strong background in supply chain finance, working capital optimization, pricing strategy, and distribution economics. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the financial strategy, leading financial planning and analysis, and ensuring robust financial management across the organization. Key responsibilities for the CFO include acting as a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team, leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling, and monitoring key performance indicators. The role also involves optimizing working capital cycles, driving cash flow efficiency, and ensuring effective credit control. The CFO will work closely with procurement and operations to control input costs, evaluate pricing strategies, and drive cost optimization across various functions. Additionally, the CFO will oversee accounting, compliance, and governance, ensuring accurate financial reporting and strengthening internal controls and risk management frameworks. The ideal candidate for the CFO position at the company will be a Chartered Accountant with at least 12 years of experience, preferably in the food-based FMCG industry. A deep understanding of the industry and its financial dynamics is essential. The role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in financial leadership, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume distribution environment. Strong communication skills, the ability to work cross-functionally, and a focus on driving results are also key attributes for the role.
