Area Vice President, Student Housing Portfolio Operations

The Company is seeking an Area Vice President to provide strategic and operational leadership for a portfolio of student housing communities. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing portfolio performance through strong financial management, operational execution, and leadership development. This senior leadership role requires a hands-on approach, the ability to independently assess performance, identify risks and opportunities, and develop data-driven strategies. The Area Vice President will also be involved in establishing measurable business objectives, overseeing annual budgeting and capital planning, and maintaining strong relationships with ownership and investment partners. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' progressive property management experience, with at least 5 years in regional, multi-site, or portfolio-level leadership, and a similar tenure in student housing. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in financial performance, operational execution, and leadership development, as well as strong financial acumen and the ability to manage and develop leaders. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, relevant property management certification, and experience with property management technology. The position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to operate in a high-accountability, fast-paced environment, and a willingness to travel extensively.
