Vice Principal

The Company is seeking a Vice-Principal to join their team. The successful candidate will be a key member of the School Leadership Team, playing a major role in formulating the school's aims and objectives, establishing policies, managing staff and resources, and monitoring progress. This role involves deputizing for the Principal when necessary and leading learning through high standards of teaching and learning. The Vice-Principal will also be involved in school development planning, evaluation, and staff development, as well as curriculum coordination, assessment, and promoting positive behavior. Applicants for the Vice-Principal position at the company must hold a teaching qualification recognized for grant-aided schools in Northern Ireland and have a minimum of 7 years' teaching experience, with a focus on special educational needs. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in strategic leadership, management, and a proven track record of school improvement. Essential skills include the ability to lead and manage staff, create a vision for the school, and ensure high standards of teaching and learning. The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of the Northern Ireland Curriculum, current educational policies, and effective financial and organizational management. Personal qualities such as vision, integrity, and the ability to work under pressure are also essential.
