Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team. The CFO will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies that align with the organization's business goals. This includes overseeing financial operations such as budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards, and managing relationships with stakeholders, including investors and financial institutions. The successful candidate will also be tasked with providing strategic insights to the executive team, monitoring and managing financial risks, and optimizing financial processes for greater efficiency. A key aspect of the role is leading and mentoring the accounting and finance team. Applicants for the CFO position at the company must have a degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline, and be a qualified accountant. A minimum of 15-20 years of total working experience is required, with a preference for those with a background in the Big 4. Industry knowledge in the pharmaceutical, life science, or healthcare sectors is essential, as is experience in HK Listed organizations and a strong understanding of compliance and HK Listing rules. The role demands a combination of strong experience in financial operations and capital markets, as well as excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Proficiency in English and Mandarin is a must, with Cantonese being a plus, and the role requires the flexibility to travel between Hong Kong and China.
