Deputy Head of Retail Banking, Product & Wealth Solutions

The Company is seeking a Deputy Head of Retail Banking (Product & Wealth Solutions) to join their executive leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic leadership, product management, and innovation of the retail banking product suite, with a strong focus on expanding the Investment and Insurance (I&I) platform. This role involves overseeing the end-to-end product lifecycle, driving commercialization, and ensuring P&L performance. The Deputy Head will also be tasked with maintaining governance and regulatory compliance, as well as leading vendor and partner management to secure competitive product offerings. Applicants must have a university degree in a relevant field, with professional qualifications such as CFA or CFP being a plus. A minimum of 15 years' experience in retail banking, product management, or wealth management is required, with at least 8 years in a senior managerial role. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing I&I product lines within a major retail bank, deep knowledge of regulatory environments, and strong commercial acumen. Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills are essential, with fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin). The role also involves team development, so the ability to mentor and build a high-caliber product management team is key.
