Deputy Head of Retail Banking, Product & Wealth Solutions

The Company is seeking a Deputy Head of Retail Banking (Product & Wealth Solutions) to join their executive leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic direction and growth of the retail product suite, with a focus on expanding the Investment and Insurance (I&I) platform to drive fee income and market share. This role involves leading the end-to-end product strategy, innovation, and P&L performance, as well as overseeing the lifecycle management of all retail products. The Deputy Head will also be tasked with ensuring governance and regulatory compliance, and will play a key role in team development, vendor and partner management, and commercialization of the product suite. Applicants must have a University degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field, with professional qualifications such as CFA or CFP being a plus. A minimum of 15 years of experience in retail banking, product management, or wealth management, with at least 8 years in a senior managerial capacity, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing I&I product lines within a major retail bank, deep knowledge of regulatory environments and compliance requirements, and a strategic vision with strong commercial acumen. Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills are essential, as is fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
