Vice President, Specialist, FX Advisory, Private Banking Greater Hong Kong Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Specialist, FX Advisory for Private Banking. The successful candidate will be part of a dedicated team that provides the highest level of personalized banking, with a focus on identifying opportunities in various asset classes and employing the best strategies to meet client needs. As an FX IC, the role involves engaging with relationship managers and clients to deliver actionable FX solutions in line with investment objectives and risk appetite. Responsibilities include providing professional advisory and executing FX-related services, working with RMs to achieve business objectives, and maintaining a proactive approach to client risk management. Applicants must have at least 6 years of relevant FX sales experience, a university degree, and preferably a professional qualification in finance or investment. The role requires a good understanding of the FX industry, including regulatory and business aspects, as well as strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. The candidate should be adept at portfolio management, analyzing FX products, and be familiar with standard platforms and analytical tools such as Reuters and Bloomberg. Proficiency in English is essential, with Mandarin being preferred. The position is subject to the Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme, and the candidate must be registered RI for the specified regulated activities.
