Chief Operating Officer (COO), Retail Operations

The Company is in search of a Chief Operating Officer (COO) for its retail operations. The successful candidate will be a hands-on operational leader with a strong background in driving the performance of manufacturing and retail businesses. Key responsibilities for this role include leading and managing end-to-end operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and business performance, as well as owning the operational P&L, budget planning, and cost optimization initiatives. The COO will also be tasked with driving workflow improvement, SOP implementation, and productivity enhancement, and will be expected to monitor and improve key business metrics. Building and leading high-performing teams and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement are also essential aspects of the role. Applicants for the COO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 8 years' experience in retail, manufacturing, or multi-site operations management. A proven track record in P&L ownership, budgeting, OPEX control, and operational transformation is required, with a preference for candidates who have exposure to technology-driven businesses or management consulting. The ideal candidate will be results-driven, commercially minded, and highly hands-on in managing day-to-day operations, with excellent leadership, analytical, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. The role is pivotal in the company's major transformation and operational excellence journey, and the COO will be expected to make a tangible impact and lead transformation at scale.
