Head of Applications

The Company is seeking a Head of Applications to play a pivotal role in shaping the enterprise software roadmap and leading a variety of high-impact engineering projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing mid-to-large cross-functional in-house engineering and support teams, as well as managing third-party system integrators and software partners. This role requires a strong focus on managing department budgets, timelines, and software SLAs, and ensuring that development pipelines and security practices comply with institutional and regulatory standards. The Head of Applications will also be a key figure in justifying technical strategies and negotiating SLAs with executive leadership and the board. Applicants for the Head of Applications position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in the field, with a background in technical management, stakeholder management, people management, and project management. A Bachelor's degree in computer science is a mandatory qualification. The role demands a candidate who can demonstrate a high level of expertise in shaping and leading software engineering projects, particularly in the areas of automation, ERP, and specialized applications. The ability to manage and lead diverse teams, both in-house and external, is essential, as is a strong understanding of institutional and regulatory compliance in software development.
