Head of Facilities Management

The Company is seeking a Senior Facilities Manager to take on a newly created Head of FM role. This is a pivotal position that offers the opportunity to shape and develop the FM function within the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational performance of the portfolio, including the management of contractors, consultants, and service providers, overseeing maintenance, compliance, and H&S, and managing FM budgets and expenditure. The role also involves monitoring building performance, supporting the transition of new developments, and contributing to sustainability and ESG initiatives. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in commercial property FM, with experience in managing a portfolio and a deep understanding of technical, compliance, and H&S aspects. Strong skills in contractor and supplier management, as well as FM budgeting, OPEX, and service charges, are essential. The role requires a proactive individual with strong stakeholder and occupier management skills, who is ambitious and commercially minded. The Head of FM will work closely with senior leadership and other teams within the business, so the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively is key.
