Head of Risk

The Company is seeking a Head of Risk to take on a highly commercial and frontline role. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the enterprise risk framework, leading on market risk, managing credit and counterparty risk, and overseeing financial regulatory and compliance risk. This role is pivotal in ensuring that risks are identified, assessed, and effectively managed at both the group and entity levels. The Head of Risk will also be tasked with managing liquidity and working capital management risk, and will be the key point of contact for the reporting and communication process with investors and joint venture partners. Applicants for the Head of Risk position at the company should have a proven track record in risk management and compliance, with a preference for experience within a trading house environment. A strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and standards, as well as relevant professional qualifications in risk management or compliance, is essential. The role requires a candidate with a highly commercial and robust approach, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and exceptional communication and presentation skills. The Head of Risk will also be responsible for leading a team of senior finance professionals, so leadership and team management experience is a plus.
