Interim Head of Operational Risk

The Company is seeking an Interim Head of Operational Risk to run its day-to-day operational risk function during a temporary assignment. The role covers enterprise and operational risk, control assessments, operational resilience, second-line assurance, and relevant client-asset oversight. The successful candidate will assess and improve risk and control frameworks, provide effective oversight and constructive challenge, and work closely with senior stakeholders. The position also offers scope to contribute across the broader non-financial risk framework and engage with investment-related risks. Candidates must currently or recently have served as a Head of Enterprise Risk or Head of Operational Risk; applicants without this background are not suitable. Demonstrable experience in risk leadership and a strong understanding of effective risk and control frameworks are essential. Experience in asset management, wealth management, or another relevant financial-services environment is preferred. Candidates should be comfortable balancing pragmatic commercial judgment with independent challenge and working across operational, enterprise, and broader non-financial risk.
