Head of Faculty, Middle Years Programme

The Company is seeking a Head of Faculty for the Middle Years Programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic, academic, and operational leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality teaching, learning, and student outcomes. This role involves driving academic excellence, supporting curriculum implementation, developing teaching staff, and promoting a positive and inclusive school culture. The Head of Faculty will work closely with the School Leadership Team and the IB MYP Coordinator to lead school improvement initiatives, monitor student achievement, and ensure the effective implementation of the IB Middle Years Programme. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or higher in education, a relevant teaching discipline, or a related field, with a postgraduate qualification in education or educational leadership being an added advantage. A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, with a proven track record in academic leadership, curriculum coordination, or middle/senior leadership positions, is required. Experience in an international school or multicultural educational environment is highly preferred, as is a strong knowledge of the IB Middle Years Programme. The role demands excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and decision-making skills, as well as the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, staff, and external partners. The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative, strategic, and committed to continuous school improvement, with a strong understanding of student well-being, safeguarding practices, and holistic education principles.
