Associate Vice President, Software Engineer in Test, Core Banking Technology, Group Technology Greater Singapore Area

The Company is seeking an AVP Software Engineer in Test to join their Group Technology and Operations team. The successful candidate will serve as a Test Lead, with a primary focus on planning, preparing, coordinating, and executing testing activities for Core Banking solutions and their integrations. This role requires a deep understanding of the testing strategy for the program, the ability to translate it into effective test plans, scenarios, and cases, and a strong background in automated testing, including the use of AI-powered testing tools. The AVP will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing capabilities, as well as ensuring the accuracy and suitability of testing tools, environments, and data. Applicants must have at least 10 years of experience in software testing, particularly in the banking industry, and a strong knowledge of Core Banking systems, business processes, and architecture. Experience with specific Core Banking solutions and frameworks, such as SunCBS and Finacle, is highly valued. The role also demands hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks, a good understanding of AI-assisted software testing, and experience in prompt engineering for comprehensive testing. The ideal candidate will have a graduation degree in a relevant field and be well-versed in Agile delivery, SDLC, testing methodologies, and defect-management processes. Strong scripting or programming skills in Java or a comparable language, as well as experience with Jira or similar test-management tools, are essential.
