Head of Global Category Management, Food & Commodities

The Company is seeking a Director of Global Category Management for Food and Commodities. This senior leadership role is pivotal in developing and leading global sourcing and category strategies for key food raw materials and commodities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing strategic supplier relationships, driving commercial performance, and leading market intelligence and price risk management strategies. Additionally, the role involves developing strategies that enhance value creation, cost competitiveness, sustainability, and supply resilience, as well as driving procurement transformation and building high-performing teams. Applicants for this role should have significant senior procurement and category management experience within FMCG, food and beverage, ingredients, food manufacturing, or related industries. A strong background in managing food commodities, raw materials, and complex direct materials is essential, as is a deep understanding of commodity markets, cost drivers, and risk management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and implementing global category strategies, possess strong commercial judgment, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, and have experience in leading organizational change and team development.
