Senior Vice President, Business Development, FX & Payments Sales

The Company is in search of a Senior Business Development Manager to spearhead the growth of FX and payment solutions across the APAC region. This senior BD manager role is highly commercial and requires a candidate with a strong background in B2B business development, sales, or relationship management, particularly within the financial services sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new client acquisition, with a focus on mid-market and large corporate clients that have significant cross-border payment, foreign exchange, and risk management needs. Key responsibilities include building and managing a client pipeline, generating new business revenue through consultative sales, and engaging with senior decision-makers to identify and address client challenges. Candidates for this role should have a proven track record in consultative selling, strong negotiation skills, and experience in originating and leading sales engagements. Essential experience includes a background in foreign exchange, international payments, treasury solutions, FinTech, banking, trade finance, or related financial services sectors. The ideal candidate will also have experience with FX products, hedging solutions, and a deep understanding of cross-border payments infrastructure and treasury workflows. CMFAS certification or licensing in Singapore is highly preferred, and candidates who can immediately engage in regulated discussions about FX and hedging products will be viewed favorably. The role demands a proactive, self-motivated individual who is adept at managing the sales process from initial engagement to client onboarding and is capable of maintaining accurate sales activity records.
