Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead its Japan business, with full responsibility for strategy, operations, and financial performance. The CEO will develop and execute growth plans, build a sustainable revenue base in collaboration with global leadership, and serve as the primary representative in regulatory and industry communications. Key responsibilities include strengthening compliance, governance, internal controls, and risk management; leading responses to regulatory and other audits; and ensuring findings are resolved through effective remediation. The role also involves building a strong compliance-focused culture and leading the recruitment and development of the local team. Candidates should have at least 10 years of senior management or executive experience in securities, brokerage, or online financial services. Deep knowledge of Japan’s Financial Instruments and Exchange Act and a demonstrated record of directly managing regulatory inquiries and inspections are required. Applicants should also have experience developing and implementing remediation plans for audit findings or business improvement orders, including related regulatory reporting. Strong leadership and the ability to build trusted relationships with regulators and industry stakeholders are essential.
