Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a strong background in finance, particularly within the renewable energy or project-driven industry. The CFO will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for defining and leading the financial strategy to align with the company's growth and investment objectives. This includes overseeing all financial functions such as controlling, treasury, tax, and management reporting, as well as leading budgeting, forecasting, and long-term business planning. The successful candidate will also be involved in evaluating new projects, leading financial initiatives, and providing strategic financial advice to the CEO and management team. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a minimum of 7 years' of relevant finance experience, with a proven track record in a senior financial role. Strong experience in project finance, debt financing, and financial modeling is essential. The role requires excellent knowledge of financial management practices, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash management, and the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, including banks, investors, and auditors. The CFO will also be expected to have a hands-on approach, be fluent in English, and native in German, and to demonstrate the ability to strengthen financial governance and support the development of the finance function in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.
