Vice President of Product, Point of Sale

The Company is seeking a VP of Product to take the lead in its core Point of Sale product organization, which is a pivotal component of the global commerce platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end vision, strategy, and execution of the POS portfolio, with a focus on evolving the core platform to drive payments attachment, new financial products, and AI-powered experiences. This role demands a leader who can set and execute the overall POS product strategy across various verticals, lead a multi-team product organization, and drive commercial outcomes including merchant growth, product adoption, and revenue. The VP of Product will also be expected to champion the introduction of AI-native capabilities, work closely with engineering and design on technical and product trade-offs, and build strong feedback loops with SMB merchants. Applicants for the VP of Product role at the company should have a background in product management, with a preference for those with direct experience in POS, vertical SaaS, commerce platforms, or payments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading product managers, owning a product P&L, and experience in scaling a core platform that drives adjacent revenue. Strong leadership, technical depth, data literacy, and executive-level communication skills are essential. Experience in hospitality or retail technology, embedded payments/fintech, SMB products, AI-powered product development, and a background in a high-growth or PE-backed environment are particularly valuable.
