Chief Program Officer

The Company is seeking a Chief Program Officer (CPO) to play a pivotal role in leading, developing, and stewarding an accessible nationwide system of connected urban and rural trails. The CPO will be responsible for program, partnership, and service development within the trail network, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and maximizing the impact of trail programs and initiatives. This executive will also be accountable for building and leading a high-performing team, fostering an inclusive work environment, and serving as the staff lead for the Board's Trail Users and Assets Committee. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a strong track record in program development, implementation, and securing funding from diverse sources. Expertise in trail-related topics, project management, construction, sustainability, and experience in a non-profit context are essential. Fluency in English and French is required.
