Vice President, NBFI Credit Manager

The Company is seeking a Vice President, NBFICredit Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the growth of the NBFIPortfolio, entailing the in-depth analysis of complex risks and the facilitation of credit decisions. This role involves performing credit assessments on a range of financial entities, including hedge funds, asset managers, insurance companies, and banks. The candidate will be expected to evaluate various factors such as investment strategies, asset quality, leverage, and performance history to determine creditworthiness. Additionally, the role requires the evaluation of derivative and securities financing transactions, and the ability to work with multiple teams to mitigate risks effectively. Applicants for this role should possess a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in credit analysis within the financial sector, with a strong focus on the specified financial entities. A deep understanding of derivative and securities financing product risks is essential. The role demands excellent communication skills, the ability to foster client relationships, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team in a high-pressure environment. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, are also required. The candidate will be expected to contribute to special projects, provide mentorship to junior staff, and continuously monitor and report on the credit quality of the assigned portfolio.
