Interim Head of Partnership & Programme Support Unit Greater Al Basrah al Qadimah, Iraq Area

The Company is seeking a Head of Partnership and Programme Support Unit (PPSU) to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical and managerial oversight of the PPSU, directing policy analysis, program support and development, donor reporting, project cycle assurance, and monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning functions. This role requires the ability to integrate these functions into a coherent system that drives evidence-based program design, effective implementation, and results-based management. The Head of PPSU will also serve as the principal focal point on partnership and program support matters, engaging with various stakeholders to ensure high-quality program development and delivery. Applicants for the Head of PPSU position at the company should have a Master's degree in a relevant field with at least 7 years of professional experience, or a Bachelor's degree with at least 9 years of experience. The role demands extensive experience in policy analysis, program strategy, project development, and donor relations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing multidisciplinary teams, establishing quality-assurance systems, and driving resource mobilization efforts. Proficiency in English is required, and working knowledge of Arabic or Kurdish is an advantage. The Head of PPSU must demonstrate excellent strategic planning, analytical, and leadership skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in high-pressure environments. Experience in humanitarian, recovery, or development settings, particularly in transition or post-conflict environments, is highly desirable.
