Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

The Company is in search of a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to spearhead the next phase of digitization within its international network of specialized companies. The CTO will be tasked with developing and realizing a multi-year agenda for IT, digital, and data, with a focus on translating technological advancements into tangible commercial and operational value. This role is pivotal in connecting the diverse companies within the group, each with its own identity, market position, culture, and digital maturity, around shared technological issues. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with extensive senior management experience in IT, digitalization, or technology, and a proven track record in stakeholder management, particularly within a decentralized or complex organizational structure. Key responsibilities for the CTO include providing direction on technology choices, strengthening collaboration and knowledge sharing, and ensuring that the IT organization aligns with the needs of the business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in areas such as architecture, ERP, cloud, cybersecurity, data, and AI, and the ability to lead change initiatives with demonstrable results. A situational leadership style is essential, as the CTO will be expected to engage with a wide range of stakeholders, from shareholders to operational employees. Experience in trade, retail, logistics, distribution, food/agri, or a similar supply chain environment is preferred, as the role requires a deep understanding of the commercial and operational aspects of the business.
