Interim Executive Director of Philanthropy Greater Athens, Greece Area

The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Philanthropy to lead and manage the Foundation's efforts in major, planned, and blended giving. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to achieve annual philanthropy revenue targets, with a focus on the organization's mission to support various health initiatives. This role involves overseeing a team of philanthropy officers, mentoring and motivating them to ensure the achievement of fundraising goals, and maintaining a significant portfolio of high-wealth donor prospects. The Executive Director will also be involved in strategic planning, and campaign management, and will serve as a key liaison with local hospital administrators and the community to instill a culture of philanthropy. Applicants for the Executive Director position must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a preference for a Master's degree, and at least 7 years of experience in fundraising, particularly in the area of major and planned gifts. The role requires strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as a proven track record of success in philanthropy. The ideal candidate will have experience in a healthcare environment, be adept at project management, and have advanced writing and public speaking abilities.
