The successful candidate will be a key player in the firm's risk governance framework, responsible for managing a portfolio of ABL clients, monitoring financial performance, and leading credit relationships. This role involves performing in-depth due diligence for various financial products, interpreting collateral appraisals, and leading credit structuring and legal document negotiations. The Lead Credit Officer will also be expected to effectively challenge banking teams, partner with various internal stakeholders, and communicate with senior management. A critical aspect of the position is the ability to anticipate and address emerging risks, and to use expert judgment to solve real-world challenges that impact the company, customers, and communities. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial banking, credit risk, portfolio management, and underwriting, with a strong knowledge of asset-based lending financing. The role requires a candidate with a Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting or finance, and a background in capital markets, financing structures, derivatives, and cash management products. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, the ability to think critically, and the capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
