The Company is seeking a Vice President, Development Accounting to lead the financial and accounting aspects of its North American logistics development portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining best-in-class processes, governance standards, and scalable operating procedures within the regional development accounting function. This role requires a strategic business partner who can provide executive leadership with advice on accounting implications, financial risks, and development performance. The Vice President will also oversee a high-performing accounting team, lead cross-functional initiatives, and ensure compliance with US GAAP and IFRS in all financial reporting and technical accounting matters. Applicants for the Vice President, Development Accounting position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related quantitative discipline, with a CPA strongly preferred. A minimum of 10-15 years' of progressive accounting and finance experience, particularly in commercial real estate development accounting, is required. The role demands a leader with a strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, construction financing, joint ventures, and development accounting, as well as advanced Excel skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading high-performing accounting teams, possess executive presence, and demonstrate exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Experience with Yardi is strongly preferred.
