Vice President of Finance Greater Austin, TX Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance to lead corporate finance and translate growth strategy into financial plans. The role oversees financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, liquidity, and integrated modeling across corporate operations and project activities. The VP will advise senior leadership on investments, resource allocation, returns, and risk; partner on financing and fundraising; and establish underwriting standards for development opportunities. Responsibilities also include improving operating performance, delivering financial reporting to key stakeholders, overseeing accounting and tax coordination, and building the finance function, systems, and processes. Candidates should have at least 10 years of corporate finance experience, including senior leadership and success building or leading a finance function. Strong experience in financial planning, liquidity management, reporting, and executive decision support within a capital-intensive business is required; real estate development, homebuilding, or related operating experience is strongly preferred. Applicants should understand real estate debt, equity, joint ventures, project cash flows, investment returns, and financing terms, and bring advanced modeling and scenario-analysis skills. A solid accounting and reporting foundation, experience working with investors and lenders, sound commercial judgment, and clear executive communication are essential.
