Vice President, Systems & Cloud Engineering Greater Baltimore, MD Area

The Company is seeking a senior systems and cloud engineering leader to design, secure, support, and improve its network, systems, cloud, identity, and endpoint infrastructure. Responsibilities include administering and troubleshooting infrastructure, developing architecture and engineering standards, implementing security controls, and leading complex incident investigations and root-cause analysis. The role also oversees backup, recovery, disaster-recovery readiness, infrastructure changes, and modernization recommendations. As a hands-on technical leader, the successful candidate will guide technical decisions, mentor staff, coordinate with stakeholders and vendors, and provide senior escalation support. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience, along with at least five years of progressive systems, network, cloud, or infrastructure engineering experience. Required expertise includes enterprise networking, servers, virtualization, cloud services, identity, endpoint management, backup, security controls, and Microsoft 365 and Azure administration. Strong troubleshooting, scripting or automation, technical documentation, change control, recovery, and communication skills are essential. Experience in regulated industries, multi-site architecture, disaster recovery, and relevant technical certifications is preferred.
