Assistant Vice President, Agency Development

The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President for Agency Development. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating approved agency strategies and business priorities into actionable development plans, leading the execution of agency development programs, and monitoring their progress to ensure objectives are met. This role involves providing updates and recommendations to the Vice President, as well as implementing initiatives to support agent recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and retention. The AVP will also be tasked with enhancing agent capabilities, sales effectiveness, and productivity, and will be expected to lead a team, manage resources, and collaborate with various functions to ensure the success of agency development initiatives. Applicants for the Assistant Vice President position should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a Master’s degree being advantageous, and a minimum of 8-10 years' experience in insurance, agency development, sales management, or a related field. The role requires proven experience in agency development, business planning, performance management, and team leadership, as well as a strong background in the life insurance industry. Technical competencies include knowledge of agency development strategies, business planning, data analysis, and project management, while behavioral competencies should reflect leadership, communication, collaboration, results orientation, problem-solving, and a commitment to integrity and accountability. The ideal candidate will be adept at using digital and analytical skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, to support business decisions and drive continuous improvement.
