About the Role
Greater Bangkok, Thailand Area (Hybrid)
The Company is seeking a Vice President for AML/CFT/Sanctions Policy, Advisory, and Training. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Head of AML/CFT Sanctions Policy, Advisory, and Training in the development of a robust 2nd Line of Defense control and oversight framework for anti-financial crime compliance. This role requires ensuring that AML/CFT Sanctions standards and requirements are implemented to a high standard across the organization, acting as a subject matter expert on related topics, and supporting the design and execution of the Group AML/CFT Sanctions Program. The VP will also be involved in the Bank's AML Uplift journey, providing expert advice, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance AML-related controls and processes, particularly those related to the customer life cycle. Applicants must have 7-10 years of experience in the financial industry with a specific focus on AML/CFT Sanctions, a strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, and experience in control and policy design and implementation. An understanding of the banking industry, particularly retail and wholesale banking products, is essential. The role also requires experience in writing and operationalizing compliance policies within a financial services or banking context, as well as the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing AML/CFT Sanctions escalations, providing detailed analysis and recommendations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and group standards.
