The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, enhancement, and implementation of SAS AML, GRID, and related technologies to support multiple business lines. This role involves close collaboration with business analysts, developers, and modelers to understand requirements and create various technical documents. The ideal candidate should have experience in SDLC methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile, and possess a solid understanding of SAS, SQL programming, and Unix Shell scripting. Major responsibilities include creating design documents, software configuration plans, and unit test plans, as well as administering and maintaining non-production environments for SAS solutions. Applicants for the SAS Technical Lead position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, with a focus on technology solutions in the financial sector. The role requires hands-on experience with SAS AML, Enterprise Miner, and other SAS components, as well as a strong background in SQL and Unix. The candidate should be well-organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively. In-depth knowledge of compliance risks, particularly in anti-money laundering, is essential. The role also involves mentoring team members, proactive communication of application changes, and a commitment to the company's values of long-term relationships and serving society.
