The role also involves cross-training of audit staff and supporting departmental initiatives. Candidates for this role at the company should have a Master's degree or above in a quantitative field, with at least 5 years' of experience in a financial institution or consulting firm, specifically in areas such as model development, validation, auditing, or quantitative research. A strong background in financial services and products, as well as experience with regulatory requirements related to model risk management, is essential. The ideal candidate will have advanced project management skills, be fluent in English, and have a working knowledge of statistical or computer programming languages. Professional certifications such as CFA and/or FRM are preferred.
