The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President for Stress Testing. The successful candidate will be a key member of the analytics team, responsible for leading data-driven analysis, developing analytical frameworks and tools, and managing models. This role requires the ability to use data to solve problems, improve efficiency, and generate actionable insights to support business operations within finance. The AVP will also be involved in scenario analysis for regulatory stress testing exercises, contributing to the development of analytical tools and models, and enhancing existing models. Strong communication, collaboration, and the ability to influence within complex environments are essential. Applicants for the Assistant Vice President - Stress Testing position at the company should have a degree in MBA with a bachelor's in engineering or a master's in economics, with at least 5 years of professional experience in financial services or consulting. The role demands a proven track record in analytics for banking, particularly in the areas of risk, stress testing, and forecasting. A strong understanding of macroeconomic concepts, hands-on experience in developing and deploying analytical, financial, statistical, and/or machine learning models, and proficiency in advanced analytics tools such as R and Python are required. The ideal candidate will have excellent quantitative aptitude, a background in financial modeling, and experience in designing and maintaining control frameworks for high-quality deliverables. The role also requires a proactive approach to personal development, a commitment to the company's values and behaviors, and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
