Associate Vice President, Infrastructure Engineer Greater Bengaluru, India Area

The Company is seeking an experienced Associate Vice President, Infrastructure Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining infrastructure platforms and products that support applications and data systems. This includes ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of the infrastructure through the application of software engineering techniques, automation, and best practices in incident response. The role involves leading the design, build, and support of secure, scalable, and high-performing applications, as well as providing L2/L3 support for the infrastructure and application stack. The candidate will also be expected to drive automation, reliability, and release excellence across environments, and to champion DevSecOps practices. Key responsibilities for this role include hands-on infrastructure engineering activities, defining and implementing standards, and driving the adoption of modern CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, with experience in a range of technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Python, and AWS. They should be adept at mentoring and coaching team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, and promoting engineering excellence. The role requires a candidate with a customer-focused mindset, strong attention to quality, and the ability to balance technical excellence with delivery commitments. Experience in software architecture, system design, and a solid understanding of cloud computing, particularly AWS, is essential.
