The Company is in search of a Lead Data Scientist, Associate Vice President to play a pivotal role in the AI/ML Science team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in defining the science strategy for large language models, generative AI, and advanced analytics across various business domains. Key responsibilities include leading the end-to-end delivery of AI/ML and LLM-based solutions, architecting and implementing advanced generative AI applications, and ensuring the operationalization of AI/ML solutions at an enterprise scale. The role demands a hands-on approach, with a focus on problem framing, data exploration, feature engineering, model development, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in machine learning, generative AI, advanced analytics, and model lifecycle management, and will be adept at translating business needs into secure and scalable AI solutions. Applicants for this role at the company should hold a BS, BTech, or Master’s degree in a relevant quantitative field and have at least 8 years of experience in IT, with a minimum of 5 years in machine learning, statistical modeling, and AI solution development. A proven track record in designing, developing, and operationalizing AI/ML models, particularly in the context of generative AI and LLMs, is essential. The role requires proficiency in Python and leading ML/AI frameworks, as well as hands-on experience with LLMs, NLP, and related technologies. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills are a must, along with the ability to work effectively across business, engineering, architecture, and governance teams. Experience in financial services or other regulated enterprise environments, as well as familiarity with model risk management and regulatory compliance, is highly desirable.
