Vice President, Financial Controls Oversight

The Company is seeking a Vice President for its Financial Controls Oversight (FCO) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the oversight and management of the global SOX compliance program, ensuring that financial reporting risk is in line with SEC regulations. This role involves providing the framework, methodology, and guidelines for SOX compliance, as well as activities that support the quarterly and annual CEO and CFO SOX certifications. The Vice President will also be a key member of the FCO global leadership team, working closely with business and external auditors to drive the successful completion of the annual SOX program. Applicants must be Certified Public Accountants with a strong accounting background, including knowledge of US GAAP, SOX 404, and SEC financial reporting standards. A minimum of 10 years' progressive SOX audit experience, preferably in a financial services environment, is required. The role demands a professional who is adept at managing and performing SOX scoping assessments, evaluating control deficiencies, and driving change management initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, be a collaborative team player, and possess the ability to influence and challenge effectively. Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to prioritize and deliver results in a deadline-driven environment.
