Vice President, Lead Test Manager Greater Bengaluru, India Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Lead Test Manager to drive automation testing, quality strategy, governance, and delivery across complex programmes. The role leads end-to-end system integration, user acceptance, regression, and production validation testing across internal teams and external vendors. Responsibilities include defining test strategies, plans, quality gates, and release approvals; managing test data, environments, dependencies, risks, and defects; and contributing hands-on to automation, API validation, test design, and root-cause analysis. The successful candidate will collaborate across product, architecture, development, and operations teams, while mentoring QA professionals and ensuring compliance with delivery and audit standards. Candidates should have at least 12 years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, or test management, including leadership of enterprise-scale programmes. Required expertise includes test strategy, governance, risk and defect management, release management, and hands-on automation, API, integration, data, and mobile testing. Strong technical skills in Java or Python, SQL, REST APIs, microservices, and CI/CD, along with experience in Agile delivery, cloud platforms, distributed teams, and vendor management, are expected. Financial services experience is desirable, as are strong communication and stakeholder leadership skills and the ability to use AI tools responsibly to improve productivity.
