The Company is seeking an Executive Director, Credit Risk Officer to join their Risk Management and Compliance team. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of the second line of defense Credit Risk Management function, providing independent oversight and challenge on credit risk for commercial and investment bank clients across a specified Latin American region. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the company's credit decisions align with risk appetite and policy, and in driving the disciplined monitoring of an existing credit portfolio. The Executive Director will also be responsible for leading strategic initiatives, enhancing market and portfolio discussions, and developing talent within the team. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, be fluent in Spanish and English, and have at least 8 years' of experience in wholesale credit risk, corporate/institutional credit, or investment banking credit. The role requires strong credit and analytical skills, knowledge of credit products, and a proven track record in credit approval processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Latin American market, a sound control mindset, and the ability to influence outcomes in a fast-paced environment. A background in leading cross-functional initiatives, driving technology adoption, and a professional certification such as an MBA or CFA is preferred.
