Associate Vice President, Software Engineering & Development

The Company is seeking a Database Software Engineering Developer to join their Markets Risk Technology team. This role is pivotal in the development of enterprise applications that support Front Office Risk in managing collateralization across global markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing software based on business requirements, coordinating with various teams, and ensuring the deployment of high-performing, quality code. Hands-on experience in Oracle RDBMS, PL/SQL, AWS RDS, PostgreSQL, and Redshift is essential, as is a strong background in database development, data modeling, and performance tuning. The role also requires expertise in setting up data pipelines for ETL jobs and troubleshooting database performance issues. Applicants for this role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years' of experience in a relevant database development position, preferably within the financial services industry.
